Chris Hawkins is a Senior Designer and Developer at Nover Marketing, where he blends design, development, and motion work to create clean, intuitive digital experiences for architecture, engineering, and construction clients. He has been building websites for more than twenty years, and his work combines strong visual thinking with the technical skill needed to bring those ideas to life.
Chris got his start during the MySpace era, long before web design felt like a career path. He was writing and recording music at the time, and customizing his band’s MySpace page became his first real experiment with layout, code, and visual identity. That mix of creativity and tinkering pulled him into the world of digital design. He still writes music today, and that artistic side continues to shape the way he approaches rhythm, pacing, and tone in his work.
He went on to earn a graphic design degree from Full Sail University, which gave him a strong foundation in typography, composition, and design systems. That background helps him create sites that feel intentional and structured while still being visually engaging. Over the years, he has taught himself the technical side of the craft as well, from custom JavaScript to CSS architecture, Motion.page, GSAP, ACF, and everything that powers high performing Elementor builds.
At Nover, Chris focuses on designing and building WordPress sites for AEC firms that need clarity, credibility, and a strong digital presence. He works on everything from full site builds to interactive visualizers, scroll based animations, dynamic project libraries, and backend systems that make it easier for clients to manage their content. He has contributed to some of Nover’s most technically involved projects, helping translate complex industry information into something people can navigate and understand.
Chris enjoys working closely with the team and jumping into challenges as they come up. He approaches problems with patience and curiosity, taking the time to make sure the final result looks good, works smoothly, and holds up long term. Clients appreciate his steady, thoughtful process and the care he puts into every build.
Chris brings a mix of design training, technical ability, and real curiosity to every project he touches. Whether he is solving a tricky motion sequence or building a full site from scratch, he cares about making things that work well and feel good to use. His work helps shape the quality and consistency of Nover’s digital output, and his background keeps him grounded in both the creative and technical sides of the industry.
