As a Senior Paid Advertising Specialist, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing effective paid advertising strategies across various platforms. You’ll work closely with account managers and clients to understand their goals, optimize campaigns, and maximize ROI. This role requires both a strategic and hands-on approach, with expertise in managing budgets and analyzing performance metrics.

responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta.
  • Set up campaigns, including:
    • Conducting keyword research, audience research, and competitor analysis to determine campaign approach
    • Creating and optimizing landing pages
    • Developing ad copy and strategy (independently for some platforms, in conjunction with our design/social team for video/image assets)
    • Coordinating with our lifecycle team to ensure appropriate lead generation follow-up and nurturing
  • Monitor campaign performance, optimizing ads, targeting, and budgets to meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Generate regular reports with insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and platform changes to ensure campaigns are cutting-edge and compliant.
  • Manage advertising budgets to ensure efficient spend and high ROI.

qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in paid advertising
  • Proficiency with ad management platforms, including Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic adjustments
  • Experience in budgeting and optimizing campaigns for maximum impact
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field
  • Certification in Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, or other relevant platforms

bonus

  • Knowledge of A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques
  • Experience with retargeting, display advertising, and advanced audience segmentation
  • Familiarity with additional platforms beyond Google Ads and Meta, such as Nextdoor and Reddit
